National Bookstore Online Shopping Review

We will all agree that National Book Store is the largest bookstore and offices supply store chain in the Philippines. It’s everywhere and really loved not just by bookworms but also by normal students because it has everything we need when it comes to school projects. And personally, I am a huge fan of it. I can never leave mall without stopping by NBS. So, I was very excited when I found out that I could finally purchase books online. Why I preferred ordering online was because when I looked for a book I couldn’t find at the nearest NBS in my place, I found it there. I might or might not order right away.

How to order:

1. Customer is recommended to log in or sign up on the official NBS site, so you will be able to move through the checkout process faster, store multiple shipping addresses, view and track your orders in your account and more.

– Then, payment information. Customer can pay through:

  • Credit Card

  • Paypal

5. The last part is reviewing your order.

And then, you will receive an email from onlineorders@nationalbookstore.com.ph if they receive your payment.

So, let me tell you the Con’s and Pro’s.

Pro’s:

  • Very convenient and easy.
  • More choices. (Books/Ebooks)
  • Shop in your pyjamas. Unless, you will pay through Bank Deposit.
  • You only need PC or your smartphone.

Con’s:

  • Needs patience.

Personal experience:

I couldn’t stop checking my email to see if they sent me, like, confirmation about my payment and stuff. But I didn’t get anything, so I decided to send them a message. They replied that day, too, saying my order was being processed and be rest assured that they would deliver my order at my doorstep, which made me glad. So, I thought my order was already shipped. But after a week, that’s when I got a confirmation from them that my payment was accepted and I was like, “What? Thought, everything’s fine when they first emailed me”.

Since they had to ship my books to province, I expected it to be delivered within 3-4 days because it’s usually goes like that. But I got my parcel the next week. Meaning, it’s kinda late.

Anyways, about the books, they were perfectly sealed and looking all good. I was so happy!

So, yes, I definitely will order again. Books are worth waiting for. 🙂
